On todays shoot we headed to Eden Gardens. It was bright, sunny and windy (elements weren’t on our side, this can happen and you don’t want to miss out)
I really wanted to get some updated close up portraits of the kids as the backdrops where so amazing and we hadn’t seen our cousins in a while. The kids were having an absolute ball so I let them play and have a great time first (get rid fo some energy) before I even bothered attempting some portrait photos. I do this with my client shoots too.
We stumbled across an awesome backdrop for a close up portrait. Finding backgrounds like this to shoot will seperate your photos from a “snapshot” to something quite artistic worthy of hanging on the wall. Without a photographic eye you would probably walk straight past a wall like this. I’m hoping through these lessons you’ll start to learn what makes for a creative backdrop while shooting.
